Description
The VigorSwitch P1282 is a high-performance, Smart Managed Gigabit Ethernet switch featuring 24 PoE+ (Power over Ethernet) RJ-45 LAN ports and 4 SFP uplink ports. It’s designed to power IP phones, IP cameras, and wireless access points with its robust 400 watt PoE power budget distributed across all PoE/PoE+ enabled Gigabit LAN ports.
Centralized or Stand-Alone Management
Manage and monitor the switch centrally via the VigorACS cloud management platform, VigorConnect single site management system, a DrayTek Vigor router, or directly through the device’s Web Interface. This flexibility allows for remote provisioning, VLAN configuration, and switch configuration cloning, reducing setup time and costs associated with complex network deployments.
Automatic VLAN Assignment
Dynamic VLAN assignment for Voice, Surveillance, and MAC VLANs ensures consistent network setup and Quality of Service (QoS) regardless of device location. This feature simplifies installation and allows for port rearrangement without the need for VLAN reconfiguration.
Useful Security Features
Enhance network security with IP Conflict Prevention, DoS Defence, and Access Control Lists (ACLs) for IPv4, IPv6, MAC, and IP Source Guard. These features protect against unauthorized access and network disruptions, providing robust control over network access.
Smart Power over Ethernet (PoE)
The VigorSwitch P1282 supports PoE scheduling, priority settings, and Device Check features to ensure reliable power delivery and management for connected IP cameras, IP phones, and wireless access points.
IP Camera Management
Effortlessly manage IP cameras with ONVIF camera detection, auto-generated IP camera topology, and Camera Snapshots for quick troubleshooting and maintenance. PoE Device Check facilitates real-time monitoring and troubleshooting of connected IP cameras.
4 SFP Ports for Uplinks
Connect to fiber networks or link to additional switches using the 4 Gigabit SFP ports, enabling flexible installations and extending network reach beyond the 100m limitation of copper cabling.
